I was born in Louisville, KY. Raised on a Black Angus beef farm in Magnolia, KY. I attended Western Kentucky University for my undergraduate degree in Animal Science, then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. I opened and continue to operate my own practice in Alpharetta GA, where I have lived for the last 14 years.
I am a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association,Atlanta Koi Club and K.O.I. I have served as Secretary and President of AKC and have Co-Chaired the AKC Koi Show for the last 5 years.
